One of the most
frequent questions of parents who have a child in a French program is, “How do
I help them if I don’t speak French?”.
This session will introduce you to organizations such as Canadian
Parents for French, and committees such as FSLAC, which were created to ensure
your child’s experience in French is a success. The rest of the workshop will
focus on some tips and strategies to help your kids with homework as well as
tools and resources available in the community and online. The end of the presentation will include a
list of recommended fun and educational websites and apps for tech-savvy
families that love learning on their tablets and mobile devices.
