Fundraising Plans

So, I hear you ask - what is all the Lord Lansdowne School Council  fundraising for?! Do you have a plan?

Well, yes, we do. See below for the plan as laid it out at the start of the year!

Lord Lansdowne School Council Fundraising Plan

2015 – 2016

This year the Council is working hard to bring a few special programs to the school:

Community Builders - http://www.cbyouthleadership.org/

Fundraising Goal : $8,000

We are currently discussing whether this program is right for our school. The Community Builders programs build the leadership capacity of young people in elementary schools through workshops for students, teachers and parents in anti-bullying, social inclusion, equity and conflict resolution. The fundraising goal pays for an ongoing - not a once-off-  program into next year.

Fundraising Goal : $3,000

Scientists in Schools is dedicated to helping Kindergarten to Grade 8 students to become 'scientists in their school', catalyzing long-lasting interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and environmental stewardship and engineering.
In order to make these happen we need your support! Both of these programs are completely funded by the Parent Council. 

We will be having a number of events this year to fundraise but in the meantime HERE are some easy ways you can contribute to the LLPS Council just through every day activities!
